For background, Dr. Emily Valenzuela grew up in Minnesota, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from the University of Minnesota. Shortly after graduating she completed the Certified Clinical Nutritionist program and moved to California to attend graduate school.
Dr. Emily Valenzuela is married with 3 children, a son and twin girls, and resides in San Clemente, CA.
As both a Licensed Acupuncturist and Clinical Nutritionist, Dr. Emily believes treating her patients requires a holistic approach. She believes the more interest a patient takes in the participation of their care, the more successful that care is likely to be. Dr. Valenzuela also understands that everyone has a unique situation, with their own ideas of success, so each consultation is given that consideration.
Her specialties include women’s health, fertility, digestive disorders, stress management, weight loss, vitamin and herbal recommendations, special diet restrictions including food sensitivities, autoimmune diseases, and customized nutrition for athletic and fitness training.
